About the role:

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager leads a small digital marketing team that is responsible for ecommerce, digital marketing operations, content management, digital advertising, social media and digital campaign planning. Strong understanding of data management, consumer/persona building, email marketing and acquisition / list growth capabilities as well as strong reporting capabilities are critical. This is a collaborative position with broader marketing organization and will work closely with Brand Management to support retail sales and product launch efforts, as well as support Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy and Communications/PR.


The Digital Marketing Manager is equally comfortable analyzing data to set strategy, making creative recommendations, and digging into our various platforms to consistently and correctly execute the work (or work with our agency partners where appropriate). This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing and will play a crucial role in achieving business goals for the next 12 months and beyond. Consumer packaged goods and/or food and beverage experience will be highly prioritized.


In particular, the essential functions of this role will focus on:

  • Develop & own the digital marketing and ecommerce plan and budget to ensure the marketing department's and company's goals are met.
  • Manage digital agencies by providing strategy and direction for all multi-channel digital marketing programs, inclusive of PPC, display, paid social, web development, SEO, Amazon advertising and email marketing.
  • Utilize creative thinking and data driven strategies to develop digital programs that will strengthen the consumer journey and grow the E-commerce business, specifically on Amazon and
  • Plan and manage online promotion calendars and accompanying advertising campaigns.

  • Analyze and optimize content and product listings across Amazon and to ensure all digital content is consistent.
  • Work with the broader marketing team to develop high-level creative campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's positioning and key messaging points to the target audience.
  • Monitor competitive activity and stay current on best practices and trends to build a best in class digital marketing and E-Commerce program.
  • Partners with Brand/Creative Team to design compelling digital creative.
  • Measure and report on performance and learnings of all digital initiatives and present results.
  • Manage consumer happiness team to manage the brand's online reputation and build brand advocacy.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's in marketing or related field
  • 7+ years relevant experience with at least 2 years in a digital management leadership / management function.

 Skills and Qualifications:

  • Management experience
  • Digital marketing experience
  • CPG and/or food & beverage experience will be highly prioritized
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and DTC sales planning and development.
