The role

This position will be responsible for providing sales support to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales team, our sales partners and customers in our newly opened office in Canada. The ideal candidate for this role will enhance executive effectiveness through strong written and verbal communication, administrative, analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities.

The Sales Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects by being resourceful, taking ownership, being able to work under pressure at times, and handle a wide variety of activities in a timely and confidential manner.

This role may include traveling and supporting trade shows as well as other sales initiatives, so experience or interest in a career in Sales is an asset.

The focus

  • Taking ownership, collaborating to completing sales initiatives such as small to medium projects to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
  • Conserving Regional Sales Manager's time by organizing meetings and meetings' follow-up, reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Managing and delivering upon sales team order fulfillment full cycle needs, forecasting, deduction approval, marketing supplies management, managing fill rates and broker reports.
  • Building and circulating sales and data presentation to next work of 100+ sales partners in the market.
  • Preparing reports by collecting and analyzing information. Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.

The background

  • Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with presentation experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High Excel and analytic skills.
  • Strong time management and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Experiences in the food and beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated travel coordination and logistics planning.
  • Calendar scheduling experience of competing demands.
  • Experience with analyzing and assembling reports.
  • Detail and Process oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Problem solving and analytical capabilities.
  • 2+ years of experience in organization providing administrative sales support.
  • 2-year Diploma Program.
